I calculate my rates according to the number of words of the Italian translation (target document). Costs for editing and proofreading will be calculated according to a hourly rate. The minimum charge is 250 words or 1 hour.

Deadlines shall be agreed upon job assignment. Such confirmation shall be in writing (e-mail or fax), stating client's details, language pairs, requirements and applied rate. Usually, I do not accept urgent jobs if urgency will affect quality.

Payments shall be made preferably through bank wire transfer as soon as the translation is delivered; the invoice will follow.

Rates and conditions are negotiable for translation agencies and publishers.
